Murder by Death is a band I heard while at work one day, and it's probably the most refreshing thing i've heard since Against Me!'s album Reinventing Axl Rose or Joanna Newsom's voice. Murder by Death is 4-piece band from Bloomington, Indiana that has a cool folky/"indie"/post-punk sound. The singer has a great deep voice and there's a really hot cellist (person that plays the cello) in the band. They are making their way through Tallahassee in April and i'm going to look into getting a ticket very soon. They are on tour and they seem like something you won't want to miss. They're signed to Vagrant and their album Red of Tooth and Claw will be released March 4, 2008. Buy that shit, i'll be doing that. Enjoy this one, it is fucking great.
